New reports have been popping up all over news sites and papers: staggering statistics showing that 3 out of every 4 children consume caffeine on a daily basis. They get it from sodas, energy drinks, chocolate… and although your child may not be knocking back cups of joe, they are getting that dose of caffeine most adults claim they cannot start their days without.

This past Tuesday, November 19th, New York City made a huge step towards a decline in cigarette addiction by becoming the first major city in the U.S. to increase the legal tobacco purchasing age from 18 to 21.
